2004 was spent on finding the problems with the building and fixing as many as possible. Much dry and wet rot had to be eradicated and many floor beams and boards replaced. Roof problems had to be rectified. Huge amounts of unnecessary internal fittings had to be dismantled and removed. The fact that the building was ours and we were creating our new base was the driving force that kept us going. Below are pictures of the before and after effects of the renovation to the exhibition space, and the upstairs section of the museum.
