UAX 12, 13 and 14 telephone exchanges come to the Muserum!!
The MoC has recently taken delivery of a large, enterprise level, SUN server. It is a 6500 series machine, fitted with 18 processors. When it was delivered new to Edinburgh University in the early 1990's, it was one of the most powerful computers in Europe. Such is the rate of progress, that it is now totally obsolete. It is now located in one of the museum’s off-site storage locations, awaiting a suitable exhibition in which to display it.
